#IllBUrHero is the third music video I’ve recorded for this album, despite being the first track. And, surprisingly, this was my first time recording a video as PNK KanD, and not one of her alters.
It’s incredible how this character really makes me feel like myself.
The photo shoot afterwards brought me back to my teenage e*girl years where I spent lots of time posting self portraits on DeviantArt (it’s been deactivated for years lol. You can’t find it 😉) and overall learning how to use a cellphone camera to photograph yourself, back when they didn’t have front facing screens 😂
I was also really surprised to end up with several studio quality photos… I took these with my cellphone and an LED light in my home studio with thrift store sheets hung for a backdrop 🫠😵💫
